Hey Leosquad! Thereโs something special about Chiang Mai after sunset ๐ . The city slows down, the air cools, and the jungle begins to whisper. ๐ค Why You Should Visit Chiang Mai Night Safari at Night?
I had always heard that this place was best experienced at night, so I decided to find out for myself. And honestly? It didnโt disappoint.

๐ Chiang Mai Night Safari Tram Routes
Upon arrival, I learned that there are two main tram routes: Savannah Safari and Predator Prowl. The staff are super friendly and will guide you where to start depending on the schedule.

The Savannah Safari tram route takes you through open landscapes inspired by the African savannah. Youโll encounter gentle, free-roaming animals like giraffes, zebras, and deer. Some might even come right up to the tram! Itโs a calm and scenic ride, perfect for getting up close to friendly herbivores and soaking in that โwild yet peacefulโ vibe.
The Predator Prowl is where things get a little more thrilling. This route brings you face-to-face with the parkโs carnivores. Think lions, tigers, hyenas, and bears. The lighting and sounds heighten the suspense, making it feel like a real nighttime jungle adventure. Itโs exciting, a bit mysterious, and definitely the highlight for those who love a little adrenaline with their safari.
Once youโre on the tram, the fun begins animals come right up to the vehicle! Itโs thrilling, a little unpredictable, and such a unique way to see wildlife up close.
๐ The Magical Night Experience at Chiang Mai Night Safari
Even though we started our visit in the afternoon, the nighttime experience took things to another level. The atmosphere completely changes with glowing lights, echoing sounds from the jungle, and the excitement of not knowing what creature might appear next. Itโs both peaceful and exhilarating at the same time.
๐ญ Donโt Miss the Shows Here
After the safari ride, we stayed for the water fountain show, which turned out to be one of the highlights of the evening. The colorful lights dancing in sync with the music create such a magical scene. It is an impressive water dancing show.

Itโs truly worth staying a little longer for. And if you can, donโt miss the Tiger show and wild animal show!

Tip: choose a seat above eye level for the best view.
