🎥 How Much Does Sapa Travel Cost in 1 Day?
🚍 The Journey from Hanoi to Sapa

I spent around $100 on my first day in Sapa… but it all started with a sleeper bus from Hanoi.
This is one of the most popular and budget-friendly ways to reach Sapa. The bus is comfortable enough for overnight or early morning trips.
- Cost: 395K VND (~$15)
- Travel Time: 5–6 hours
If you’re coming here, I’d recommend taking a sleeper bus straight from Noi Bai International Airport — it saves you an overnight stay in Hanoi. There are plenty of schedules — Click The Button Below
🌄 First Impressions of the Mountains
As we got closer to Sapa, the city slowly faded into mountains, fog, and endless greenery.
🏨 Checking Into My Hotel in the Clouds

After arriving, we took a short taxi ride to the hotel for Taxi costs us 30K VND (~$1.20), then we checked into our hotel for the night.
📍 Locations: (Sapa Green Hotel) 02 Hoàng Liên, TT. Sa Pa, Sa Pa, Lào Cai, Vietnam
💰 Price : 790K VND (~$30) / night
🌉 The Glass Bridge Experience

After checking in, we headed straight to one of Sapa’s most famous attractions—the Glass Bridge.
We booked a private car for the trip (around 650k VND / $25 round trip), which made getting there much easier.
The entrance ticket costs about 482K VND (~$18.30), and walking on a transparent bridge surrounded by mountains feels like a completely different experience.
Visiting the glass bridge? It’s best to book your ticket ahead of time, especially during peak hours.
📍 Locations: (Rong May Glass Bridge) Sơn Bình, Bình Lư, Lai Châu, Vietnam
⏰ Opening Hours: Open Everyday 07:00 – 18:00
🎟️ Entrance Fee : 482K VND (~$18.30)
☁️ Walking Above the Clouds
Then came the part that actually got me… we tried the Bridge Across the Clouds. Walking high above the valley was way more thrilling than I expected.
- Bridge Across the Clouds 348K VND (~$13.20)

🤔 Was It Worth $100?
For a full day that includes transport, accommodation, and two unique experiences, $100 is a reasonable budget—especially if it’s your first time in Sapa.
Of course, you can adjust this depending on your travel style:
- Spend more for luxury stays or guided tours
- Go cheaper with shared transport or hostels
So… would you spend $100 for a day like this in Sapa? 👀
